SCENE OF THE CRIME: The Manchester Public Library in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, USA. This is where the Mystery Book Club meets on the last Friday of each month. After enjoying these monthly discussions for a few years, I decided to create the Mystery Book Club blog and invite you to enjoy us!
HOW? -- MODUS OPERANDI -- HERE IS HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE
1) Do it live - in - person! Come to Manchester Public Library, and borrow a copy of the book (ask at desk), go home and read it. Then join us for discussion on the last Friday of the month. (Check at the library for schedule changes due to holidays.)
2) Do it virtually - online! Get your own copy of the monthly book, listed near the top of the front page of the blog. You can click the link and buy a copy or get one from your library. Read it. Look for blogpost about the book. Then, most importantly, let us hear from you - add your own comments about the book. Tell us what you liked or didn't like. During our meetings, we often discuss aspects of the book using a grading or rating form. You can download your own copy from the resource page.
Also, add your comments about other mysteries or thrillers you are reading. To do this, use the fourth link down at the top of the front page where it says "--Suggest your fav mystery books, authors, etc. Tell us what you're reading."
Here we are at our Mystery Book Club meeting. Photos from the Cape Ann Beacon. That's me, "Frank Hardy" --your blogmaster-- in the center picture.
